Moving Up In Competition
We don't have any hard set rules on when a horse should be moved up in competition. If a horse has been in training with us for a while but has had a break between shows, we follow the discretion of the trainer and rider.
For three day eventing, we try to follow these general rules to qualify for FEI levels:
- CIC*: at least three top three placings at 1.10m
- CIC**: at least three top three placings at 1.15m + 1 top three placing at CIC*
- CIC***: at least three top three placings at 1.20m + 1 top three placing at CIC**
- CIC****: at least three top three placings at 1.20m + 1 top three placing at CIC***
