Wingsjö Congarie*

2005 1.65m Danish Warmblood Mare
Competing in Grand Prix Dressage
Ridden by William Cander

Congarie has been a real example of the kind of quality you get from a great breeder like Wingsjö. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this mare. Quiet, calm, always eager to work. Everything just flows when you have great breeding and a great start behind a horse.

Congarie is steadily working her way up the Dressage circuit and continues to impress at each level. William is always pleased with her progress and we are happy she has been brought up slowly and hasn't missed a step.

L. Wellington

2006 1.65m Swedish Warmblood Gelding
Competing in Intermediare II Dressage
Ridden by Edgar Hodges

Wellington is just the kind of gelding that everyone wants in their barn: willing, able, well mannered and athletically talented. We first bought Wellington as a colt in Sweden. After seeing his good nature and eagerness to please, we knew that he could be an excellent competitor and a potential youth mount in the future.

Wellington has been moving up in Dressage ranks and we expect him to continue to do so under his new rider Edgar Hodges. Edgar has taken Wellington's great demeanor and utilized it to focus his training in a positive way that keeps both rider and horse seemingly smiling at the end of each session.

U Astrafobi*

2007 1.63m Swedish Warmblood Mare
Competing in Intermediare I Dressage
Ridden by Edgar Hodges

A brand new addition to Castrol, Astrafobi is yet another great mare from the same breeders at Utsiktens. Though we were not on the market for this particular mare, we just couldn't pass up such an outstanding opportunity. We will be getting to know her and see how she does for Castrol, continuing her great career in Dressage both abroad and at the ASDA.

U Mistrael*

2006 1.66m Swedish Warmblood Mare
Competing in Intermediare I Dressage
Ridden by Anne Howard

This very talented young mare has all the exemplary qualities that have made her pedigree so successful. We are very happy to have another high quality Dressage horse here at Castrol, even if it is far over our limit!

Mistrael has shown that she has all the abilities to even exceed her sire as a smooth, even paced mount. We are looking forward to her inspection results and her show career.

Utsiktens Made Up*

2004 1.63m Swedish Warmblood Mare
Competing in Prix St. Georges Dressage
Ridden by Amy Westhouse

An outstanding pedigree riddled with top earners, and already doing extremely well for herself in the show ring. This beautiful young mare is soft, supple and has beautiful conformation, already earning her Diploma rating in Sweden before being imported into the US by Castrol.

Made Up is advancing well in Dressage and has recently moved up to Prix St. Georges in competition and is continuing to impress. At her age she is coming into the prime of her show career and it is wonderful to really see her blossom.

Utsiktens Easy Enough

2005 1.65m Swedish Warmblood Mare
Competing in Prix St. Georges Dressage
Ridden by William Candor

It is always wonderful to have a few horses in the barn that anyone can ride. Easy Enough is one of those horses - any rider we put her with excels under her care. We also use her for interviewing new riders that are wishing to join the Castrol Team.

With an outstanding pedigree behind her, we hope that Easy Enough will one day be retired to brood alongside her dam here. That day is a long ways off however, and for the time being Easy Enough is headed back to Europe for a competition season abroad.

RB's Purpur Rose

2005 1.70m Oldenburg Mare
Competing in Prix St. Georges Dressage
Ridden by Carlton Rivers

An excellent aquisition from her breeder Redbird in 2012, Rose has been on the Castrol string for some time and has always impressed up. A great working demeanor, she has recently moved up to Fourth Level and has eyes set for Prix St. Georges in 2016. We will add more comments soon on this wonderful mare.

Zarnoch's Final Jam Av

2001 1.69m Trakehner Gelding
Competing in Fourth Level Dressage
Ridden by Shawn Agreve

A recent purchase from Veranstaltungszentrum Sternhof, Jam is just the kind of gelding that Castrol has looked for to round out our competition string. Currently ridden by the talented Mr. Agreve, we are also seeking a second rider for Jam to begin competing in youth competitions with. He has an incredible demeanor and his older age means we can know what to expect out of him each time he goes out. These combinations make an excellent youth mount, so as soon as we find that rider we will pair them for the upcoming show season. In the meantime, he is enjoying a great deal of success under Sean and has been doing incredibly well for us since his purchase.

Fernweh Fh

2008 1.61m Oldenburg Mare
Competing in Fourth Level Dressage
Ridden by Anne Howard

This talented young mare is one of our (currently) only two German import horses. Purchased from her breeder in April 2012, and has been in training since that time.

Fernweh has been working with Anne since her purchase time and the two have become very close. After touring with Castrol on the international circuit in 2014, and now gearing up for the 2015/2016 show season, we are really starting to see this bright young mare start to shine. We feel that 2016 may be an important year for Fernweh as her hard work and schooling starts to polish up her incredible sim pedigree.

Solaris GN

2003 1.67m Hanoverian Gelding
Competing in Third Level Dressage
Ridden by Sarah Newman, Natalie Keys

A recent purchase from Veranstaltungszentrum Sternhof, we will be adding comments as we get to know him.

Solaris is being ridden by two riders: Sarah Newman, the talented teenage Jr. ready to take him to his next level of competition, and by Natalie Keys, our youngest rider that is enjoying her time with him as a "pony". While he enjoys Natalie's undying love and all that pink glitter, Solaris is also a great athlete that really shines under Sarah's hands and Jean's watchful training.

Diora Fh

2006 1.61m Oldenburg Mare
Competing in Third Level Dressage
Ridden by Lucas Keys

This talented young mare is one of our (currently) only two German import horses. Diorah was purchased from her breeder in April 2012, and has been in training under one of our most talented Dressage riders since that time. As a fully mature mare she is not ready to get more serious about her competitive career, and we have brought Diorah with us to Europe for the 2014/2015 season.
