Competing in Third Level Dressage

With an incredible demeanor comes our latest purchase from VZ Sternhof. Castrol had been searching for high quality warmblood geldings that were capable of upper level competition and of schooling some of our upcoming young riders. Solaris is just such a gelding: a great attitude, beautiful collection and all the physical and mental makings of a champion.
His career has started out rather slowly but our ambition junior Sarah Newman is excited to move him up a level or two over the next show season. We can see Solaris competing up to Grand Prix, so Sarah may need to turn over more and more of his riding to a more experienced rider to complete that transition. In the meantime, she is really enjoying her "golden boy". Castrol's youngest rider, Natalie, is also loving her new "pony" as she likes to call him (he's a rather big pony, but don't tell her that!). She is riding Solaris in child's Dressage classes throughout the 2016 show season.
