We are so pleased to announce Birmingham's recent approval as a Five Star Stallion. He makes Castrol's second sire to reach this legendary status, and we are so glad to see his offspring performing so well and earning him continued praise.
Baloubet du Rouet is known for producing respectful and powerful stadium jumpers, and we are certainly finding that to be true with Birmingham. His form is exceptional over fences, and he is a great stallion to work with, he knows when to use his power for you and not against you. Birmingham was an extremely successful sire in Upper Level sim game, and we have brought him with us to all-sim to compete internationally on the jumper circuit. Fully approved for breeding by the ULWS, Birmingham received excellent marks for his type, impulsion and other characteristics.
His foals are already showing his incredible worth as a breeding stallion, with the top youngstock in UL being directly out of this young stallion. He received incredible scores at his Stallion Performance Test, and we hope to have more international recognition for him soon. After a great career in Upper Level as an Eventer, Birmingham has been moved into his specialization, and where his Eventing scores were best: Stadium Jumping. It is no surprise to us that Birmingham is such an exceptional fence clearer with his pedigree, but we also enjoyed the incredible opportunity to see him on the Cross Country coarse and of course to see his movement and suppleness in the Dressage ring.
