I know that's a lot of reading, please don't be afraid to ask questions. I want this to be useful and with some merit in the international community, so if something needs to be changed I'm willing to hear ideas.

Because a lot of our sim Warmbloods are competing in the ASEA/ASJA/ASDA, and 1st, 2nd 3rd awards are not offered, the star awards program may be awarded with the following:

For every 1st, 2nd or 3rd place requirement, you may substitute FIVE Top Ten placings.

IE: Ten 1st 2nd or 3rd placings in Fourth Level or higher Dressage or = Fifty Top Ten placings in Fourth Level or higher Dressage

This is to both encourage regular showing of our sim Warmbloods, and also to somewhat level the playing field for our international (and domestic) simmers that do not use the auto-entry methods of these associations.

Hey I saw the response to my foal inspection post so I'm curious as to why Irish Sport Horses are not being inspected at this time and if they will be in the future? That particular horse will be 3 in 2016 so I was just wondering if anything was going to change before then?

Irish Sport Horses are usually founded on a Thoroughbred x Draft type (Irish Draught) cross. Since SSI is based on studbook entry that does not allow draft type horses (modeled after German verbands) we are not currently inspecting Irish Sport Horses.

If in the future we decide to inspect Irish Sport Horses, we would need information from that breed society on their inspection criteria and they would have to go into a separate stud book system. And no it would not be a problem to have horses inspected at that time that were >3yrs.

I guess the 'no SIM breed rule' also applies to Veslanders, right? I have a Thoroughbred x Wurttemberg I'd love to have inspected but he was registered as Veslander (he could pass as Wurttemberg too, but that's not what he was registered as)

That is correct. You could post him as a Wuttermberg but make sure there's no draft horse anywhere on his pedigree (my understanding is that stud still allows that but it's pretty rare anymore).
