Welcome to Westveil Estate, the culmination of a long history in world on online equestrian simulations that began way back in 1999. Our owner, Jenna Peterson (a variation on her real world name), joined the sim world via email and Yahoo! Groups discussions in the early years, just before the turn of the millennium, accessing these games only during free time in her school's computer lab. In 2001, with the long-awaited arrival of a home computer and internet connection, she was able to play full time, and began learning to build stable websites, and games shortly thereafter.

The names of both stable and owner changed frequently before 2004, when we were temporarily known as Shakespeare Arabians, and then semi-permanently as Sporthorse Savvy Estates, along with the owner/player name Eni (Gwenivere "Eni" Davidsen). In 2005, we added an all sim branch and took on the company name Mutiny Inc., which became Atuan Arabians a year later.

Our owner graduated high school, started university, and experienced a whole slew of life changes in 2006-2007, and this change spurred yet another set of name changes. Eni became Billy (Kimberlee Abigail "Billy" Cheshire), and took on the primary stable name Blackvale, occasionally spelled Blackveil. The stable name survived another player/owner name change in 2010, when Jenna decided to shed the aliases and just use her own name everywhere. In 2012, following a 6-month hiatus from all things sim while Jenna moved across the country and got settled, we unified all of our stable enterprises under one name: Westveil.

The name Westveil is a nod to the late Blackveil, and to our origins and fictional location in Western Canada. Today, the all sim branch of Westveil Estate is located just outside the city limits of Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Our own home-founded sim breeds, the Victorian Warmblood, Sport Horse, Carriage Horse and Riding Pony, take their name from our location.

When we united all of our efforts under the Westveil banner in 2012, our goal was to raise and promote a modest herd that was exclusively comprised of dressage horses. Well, that didn't last long! More and more breeds and disciplines quickly found there way into our stable until we reached the point we're at today. Our herd includes over 50 breeds, and our competitive team competes in nearly every discipline, with very few exceptions. Our all sim herd does not include racers of any type (including endurance), though some of our affiliated game community stables do.

If in the future we decide to inspect Irish Sport Horses, we would need information from that breed society on their inspection criteria and they would have to go into a separate stud book system. And no it would not be a problem to have horses inspected at that time that were >3yrs.

For every 1st, 2nd or 3rd place requirement, you may substitute FIVE Top Ten placings.

IE: Ten 1st 2nd or 3rd placings in Fourth Level or higher Dressage or = Fifty Top Ten placings in Fourth Level or higher Dressage

This is to both encourage regular showing of our sim Warmbloods, and also to somewhat level the playing field for our international (and domestic) simmers that do not use the auto-entry methods of these associations.

I think it's three stables, including Tanniques, that are competing in western at the moment. But mostly is it just me competing with myself, refuse to let it go. I'm kind of in love with my western horses that have swedish sim pedigrees because that's most of what we got of swedish western history. Quarter horse, paint horse and appaloosa is what I got, most of them compete in western but I've a few appaloosas that compete in stake racing.

We also got thoroughbreds and arabian horses for racing and endurance. Mostly because we have around 4-5 racing stables in swedish sim, it's not a big sport either, and that's funnier rather than just competing with myself in western.

We are moving! That's why it's such a mess in our stable!
